In-Home Primary Care and Rehabilitation for Cats and Dogs in Southeast Michigan

Cost and Discounts

Note: This page refers to in-home visits only.

Lifelong Rescued Animal Discount: Spayed/Neutered animals with adoption papers from a non-profit rescue or shelter receive $15 off every doctor's home visit for life.

Core Vaccine Discount: Core vaccines (Rabies, DA2PP, Leptospirosis, and Bordetella for dogs and Rabies and RCP for cats) are provided to our house call clients at no additional cost. Vaccine titers are also kept as affordable as possible, and vaccine protocols are individualized to each patient's needs.

We value getting to know and understand our patients and clients very well. As such, we plan for our first appointment to last about 1 hour and include an in-depth history, close nose-to-tail physical examination, nutrition consult,  and behavior/pain/lifestyle assessment. All clients are given Dr. Verma's texting number and email address to discuss patient progress. Personalized discharge notes are sent electronically after every appointment to all clients.

The first appointment consultation fee is $92 with all following consultations costing $74 ($45 for rechecks). A flat $62 house call fee is applied to all visits in the service area to cover the cost of travel time and vehicle upkeep. No additional house call fee is applied for multiple animal households in the same visit.

Euthanasia Policy: Dr. Verma believes in treating every patient with dignity and respect and views euthanasia as a means to alleviate a patient's suffering. He only performs euthanasia for medical reasons when it is in the patient's best interests within the context of a preexisting patient-doctor relationship. As such, he strives to be available to personally provide this service at no cost to existing clients (We do not provide euthanasia services for new patients on an on call basis). If you are an existing client and Dr. Verma cannot be reached in an emergency situation, please contact your nearest emergency hospital, which will have their own billing policies.
